Haskell’s Design & Consulting (D&C) Team unites architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals from across industries and geographies. While some clients are looking for turnkey design-build or engineer-procure-construct projects, the D&C Team also serves clients who need specialized, fee-for-service design or consulting projects. In this internship, you will join the AE Resource Development team within Haskell’s D&C group.

 

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented intern to support the creation of engaging learning experiences. In this role, the intern will collaborate with team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design effective training content and learning solutions tailored to architecture, engineering, and design professionals. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience within a dynamic, industry-focused environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

· Communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including architecture, engineering, design, and construction management team members, as well as managers and technical experts.

· Assist in assessment of training and development needs

· Gather source material and assist in production of engaging, interactive learning content aligned with identified needs

· Support the communication, implementation, and tracking of learning, development, and engagement initiatives across Haskell

· Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing participant feedback to inform and enhance program improvements.

 

Education/Experience:

· Pursuing a degree in learning & development, instructional design, educational technology, education, or related field from an accredited college or university

· Familiarity with AEC industry preferred

 

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

· Must have good personal habits

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

· Strong customer/employee service orientation

· Uses initiative and attention to detail

· Organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and complete work on schedule

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; knowledge or interest in eLearning tools preferred

 

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
