[EdgeConneX is looking for summer interns. This will be a paid, 10-week internship from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026]

Title: Capital Budget Intern

Pay: $23/hour

 

The Capital Budget Intern will support the day to day project driven and ad hoc analysis of capital budgets. This position reports to the Director, Procurement & Logistics. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Capital Budget modeling and analysis (Comps, Actual Vs Budget, etc…) 
  • Support Finance team on Benchmark pricing for Capital Budgets using internal and 3rd party resources 
  • Capital Budget entry and approval process tracking. 
  • Cash Flow development and management for large projects 
  • Ad hoc and project specific data analyses (e.g. historical budgets comparison within a specific market) 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Eager to learn and apply knowledge 
  • Strong knowledge of advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Reporting, Macros, Advanced conditional formatting, etc) 
  • Strong attention to detail  

 

Experience/Education 

  • Actively enrolled working towards bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. (Junior or Senior credit status)
