[EdgeConneX is looking for summer interns. This will be a paid, 10-week internship from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026]
Title: Data Engineering Intern
Pay: $23/hr
The Data Engineering Intern will assist with designing, building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes and database systems. This position reports to VP Business Solutions, Office of Information Technology.
Primary Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development - Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion from various sources using Synapse Pipelines, Azure Data Factory
- Database Management - Write SQL queries, views, and stored procedures and assist with database design, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Build and support Logic Apps - that interface with API integrations and notifications.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of the data environment.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn and apply knowledge
Experience/Education
- Actively enrolled working towards Bachelor’s degree (Junior or Senior credit status)
