About the Role
Video/Motion Graphics Intern

As a manufacturer of world class STEM education products, we touch the lives of children, families, and educators by producing safe, fun, and exciting activities to classrooms, camps, and clubs. The intern(s) hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of graphic design and will leave this position with invaluable skills and industry knowledge.

The Video/Motion Graphics Intern takes direction from the Creative Director or Senior Designers to convert written or spoken ideas into exciting motion/video content for social media, our website, and other promotional or educational platforms. The ideal candidate will work with an appropriate amount of supervision deemed necessary by the Creative Director and be able to balance multiple tasks at once. 

Responsibilities 
  • Support the video production team and learn editing techniques
  • Learn about adhering to brand guidelines and applying them to assignments 
  • Work with a wide range of media and software including Adobe CC software and C4d/Red Giant 
  • Create eye catching visual media that engage specific audiences
  • Gain experience with a wide range of video/media request
  • Gains hands-on experience and knowledge in a fast-paced creative atmosphere.

Requirements
Applicants should be majoring in specific field related to video production, motion graphics, or graphic design, with strong knowledge of the Adobe CC suite and be able to work in a Mac OS atmosphere.
Experience with Maxon Red Giant is preferred. Desired candidate should also possess a strong knowledge of current media trends and have an eye for attention to detail. Ideal candidates will also have the ability to take written or spoken ideas from a concept phase to a finished deliverable while working within given deadlines.

 
  • Bachelor’s degree candidates preferred with at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Candidates finishing their associate’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA would be considered
  • Willingness to learn from experienced designers and put that knowledge into action 
  • Must possess the ability to problem solve using visual tools
