Rank One Computing Corporation (ROC) is an employee-owned cutting-edge developer of computer vision based biometric and video analytic technologies. Our core offering, the ROC SDK, provides algorithms that are industry leading in accuracy and efficiency. More recently, ROC’s product portfolio has grown to include full-stack, end-user systems that leverage the algorithms contained in the ROC SDK. We license our software in support of a wide range of applications including financial services, law enforcement, military, and consumer electronics.
Seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Intern to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have emerging foundational skills in software development and an interest in applying agentic principles and potentially technologies like Vue.js to build innovative applications. As an Agentic Engineering Intern, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining our applications, contributing to high performance and excellent user experiences while learning key aspects of agent-based systems.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in agile development processes to develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Vue.js, incorporating the orchestration of agents and bots for automated coding assistance and workflow management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, including agentic engineering principles, to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.
Gain hands-on experience in developing and managing code using the latest agent-based coding tools and automated workflows.
Contribute to the design and implementation of automated testing and deployment pipelines leveraging bot and agent technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in front-end development.
Extensive experience with Vue.js and its core principles.
Enrollment in a degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
Basic understanding of software development principles.
Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, C++).
Exposure to version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong interest in learning new technologies and frameworks (e.g. Vue.js).
Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired / Relevant Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Cypress).
Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with other front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React or Angular.
Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with hardware integration for AI Vision systems is a plus
