About the Role

This is a paid internship within the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's Foundation.  The focus of the internship is on Development and Nonprofit fundraising.  Minimal local travel may be required and will be accompanied by staff of the Foundation.

This internship provides great opportunity to learn, have a project to focus on and will complete for use in portfolios when job seeking.  Additionally, this allows for the chance to learn how nonprofits and nonprofit foundations operate and learn the variety of employment available in a nonprofit setting.  The ideal candidate plans to pursue nonprofit work as a career.

Hours: Approx. 35 hours/week.  This is primarily a weekday job, with the option to work the Annual Walk for Children's on Saturday June 6th.
 



  • High School Diploma
  • College student in either Junior or Senior year strongly preferred
    • Must be pursuing an internship for credit.
  • Spring 2026 Graduates will be considered.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 31 / Act 33 / Act 34 / Act 73 with renewal
