About the Role

Join our Engineering Management APAC Team and gain practical experience in an international, inclusive environment that values diversity and individuality. We believe that different perspectives drive innovation and better outcomes, and we actively welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

As a working student, you will support our team in coordinating technical and organizational activities for offshore wind in Japan. You’ll learn how our Engineering Management team collaborates with other Engineering Packages (Turbine, Foundations, Inter Array Cables, etc.) in a global matrix organization while contributing to knowledge sharing, process improvements, and practical solutions.

 

About the role

 

  • Assist in standardization of engineering processes, contributing to efficiencies in existing decision-making processes 
  • Work closely with package engineers to gather and prepare technical inputs for various topics such as third-party design reviews and regulatory approvals 
  • Support the Engineering Management team in preparation of required documents for tendering and contracting of suppliers 
  • Support the Engineering Management team in managing any emerging engineering issues to facilitate project execution with minimal disruption  

 

Job requirements and experience

 

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field), with at least two years of completed studies
  • Initial experience in project management or the offshore wind industry is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Methodical and structured approach to work
  • Effective teamwork skills with a collaborative and communicative mindsetConsistent, initiative-taking, and detail-oriented working style
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
  • High-level skills in reading, writing, and speaking English and Japanese
