About the Role
Desktop Support Intern Job Description

Role Overview:
We are looking for Desktop Support Intern to manage end‑user support, system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and IT asset management. This role requires strong technical skills, timely issue resolution, and a proactive approach to system health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware & End‑User Support
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop/laptop hardware issues.
  • Verify the functionality of peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and printers.
  • Respond promptly to user‑reported technical problems.

Operating System & Software Support
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft OS issues, bugs, and performance problems.
  • Resolve issues related to Revit, MS Office, and third‑party applications.
  • Install and apply patches, updates, and software fixes.

Documentation
  • Log incidents and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
  • Maintain asset movement and shuffling records.
  • Document recurring issues and escalate when necessary.
