INTERN - RISK MANAGEMENT & ACTUARIAL

General Description:

This internship position will support the actuarial and risk management teams on various projects as assigned and be responsible for certain deliverables at the end of the position’s terms. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Provides data in support of actuarial, product, underwriting, risk management and reserving initiatives. 

Ensures that data is correct, consistent, and robust. Perform proper data validation and reconciliation exercises. 

Become proficient in performing data manipulation, analysis, and automation, including but not limited to data cleansing and automated reporting. 

Use appropriate spreadsheet and data stewardship: Organize and document data, data sources, and calculations in such a way that it can be easily reviewed by a peer or external party. 

Perform data calls and utilize ways to gain automation efficiency. 

Creates documentation for all procedures 

Performs other duties as required.

Education and / or Experience:
