About the Role

What will you do?

  • Assist in developing and maintaining product roadmaps by gathering market insights, internal feedback, and analyzing data.
  • Support Product Owners in managing the full product lifecycle—from new product development to product obsolescence.
  • Participate in marketing and competitive analysis to identify key offer strengths, gaps, and opportunities in the market (e.g., SWOT analyses, pricing comparisons).
  • Aid in defining product requirements, capturing customer needs, and helping deliver clear value propositions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, finance, supply chain, and sales) to support project initiatives.
  • Help document and organize inputs for business cases, product strategies, and development prioritization.
  • Contribute to internal communication tools for updating stakeholders on product progress, decisions, and changes.
  • Participate in voice-of-customer (VoC) research via meetings, surveys, or interviews to collect feedback for offer development.
  • Learn and support Agile development practices and tools, helping Product Owners and development teams prioritize backlogs and features.
  • Help develop basic project management competencies by tracking action items, preparing meeting materials, and summarizing outcomes.
  • Support product promotion efforts by assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, product documentation, and competitive research.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Basic understanding of product lifecycle management, marketing concepts, or Agile development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint or product management tools is a plus
  • Collaborator with good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret technical concepts with support and guidance (desirable)
  • Willingness to think creatively and contribute to discussions with fresh perspectives

  • Product Owner - Panelboards

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or a related field.
  • Interest in the intersection of technical product development and business strategy.
  • Coursework or internship experience related to project management, product development, or business/financial analysis is a plus.
  • This person will have to go 2 times per week to PIIT, Apodaca.
