It is a paid internship opportunity with a length of 6 months, working from our Berlin office at least 3 days per week.


In this role, you will:

  • Engage in collaborative product development with global teams, refining your programming skills along the way.

  • Innovate and enhance features under expert mentorship, unlocking your full potential.

  • Swiftly troubleshoot issues with the guidance of experienced professionals, driving impactful results for KAYAK product.

  • Experience a transformative journey of growth with our dedicated team, evolving into a proficient Backend Software Engineer ready to thrive in the tech industry.

Please apply if you:

  • Are pursuing a degree in Computer Science or have hands on experience in software projects;

  • Can perform with proven programming fundamentals;

  • Have hands-on experience in Software Engineering;

  • Can communicate fluently in English;

  • Have a genuine passion for code quality and testing;

  • Have strong analytical approach;

  • Have high energy, willingness to learn and are not afraid to ask questions;

Not required but would help you stand out:

  • Ability to read and understand backend code written in Java.
