Your Mission: 

Within the General Secretariat Group composed of a team of 16 people mainly based in Paris, you will have the following main missions:

 

Contracts :

  • Analysis and drafting of contracts, particularly IT and digital contracts;
  • Negotiation of contract amendments;
  • Drafting and implementation of contract templates;
  • Monitoring contract lifecycle in the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool.

 

Personal Data Protection :

  • Contributing to GDPR compliance for the two Sonepar Group holdings (mapping, privacy policy, data breach management, DPIA, etc.)
  • Drafting and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

 

AI and Digital Law :

  • Supporting the design and implementation of the Artificial Intelligence compliance program
  • Creating and deploying the Group-wide AI e-learning module
  • Drafting memos related to new digital regulations (Data Act, Cybersecurity Resilience Act, Digital Services Act, etc.)

 

Miscellaneous :

  • Various legal research and analysis;
  • Creation of awareness content for employees on topics related to the different missions.

 

Skills: The Toolbox You Bring

  • Your academic background has provided you with a solid foundation in digital law, IT law, and new technologies, as well as in personal data protection. Prior experience in contract law would be appreciated.
  • You are fully bilingual in French and English and capable of drafting technical documents in French and English.
  • You are both curious and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and develop your skills. Known for your interpersonal ease, you are recognized for your commitment, rigor, eagerness to learn, and adaptability.
  • You enjoy working on a variety of topics.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • You are looking to acquire strong technical and legal skills in business and digital law, while also remaining open to other areas of expertise.
