About the Role

Description

Metro Engineering Solutions is looking for an Engineering Co-Op to join our team.  MES is a multifaceted utility and telecommunications engineering firm serving clients throughout the Midwest. The Engineering Co-Op is responsible for working effectively in a variety of computer systems and software applications while providing internal and power utility clients with utility design services and solutions needed to accurately construct OH/UG power distribution systems. 

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program related to Electrical or Civil Engineering. 
  •  Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other design/drafting software. 
  • Basic programming knowledge (C/C++, Python, or similar).
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
