About the Role

Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our Contract, Pricing, and Marketing & Communications teams. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the government contracting arena while gaining valuable experience in critical business processes.

 

What You'll Learn

  • How government contractors price solutions and services to government clients
  • Contract management and compliance fundamentals
  • Marketing and communications strategies in the government sector

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Support:
    • Assist with contract electronic records entry and management
    • Support contract closeout preparation activities
    • Draft, review, and provide commentary on contracts and corporate forms
    • Help maintain compliance records
  • Pricing Support:
    • Conduct research for pricing activities
    • Support proposal development processes
    • Analyze competitive pricing strategies
  • Marketing & Communications:
    • Assist in drafting internal and external presentations and marketing materials
    • Tracking marketing metrics such public relations, contributed content, social media, advertising, speaking engagements, and tradeshows
    • Assisting with internal public information release reviews to ensure content is approved for release by various corporate stakeholders

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited university
  • Ability to commit to the full 10-week program (minimum 30 hours per week)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3.0+ cumulative GPA
  • Interest in government contracting, business, marketing, or related fields
