College Intern - Water Resources

This internship is for Engineering Students with an interest in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Water Resources. In this role, interns will gain insight into various aspects of engineering including hydrologic and hydraulic design, forecasting, and modeling. Our College Interns will be exposed to various challenges, projects and technology related to road drainage, erosion control, bridge hydraulic design, scour, and resiliency, and will complete tasks both in the office and in the field as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Classwork in Civil/Water Resources Engineering
• Participation in professional societies (ASCE, ITE)
• Applicable prior internship experience
