The Project Manager Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. As a Project Manager Intern, you will work alongside the Civility team to help the community thrive through Roblox by working to deliver on project goals and partner initiatives. In this work you will help create and analyze materials for research and develop materials for our community. 

This position is open to students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Communications, or a related Social Science field.

You Will:

  • Support Research: Assist in the execution of research projects that inform civility, safety, and prosocial design. 
  • Optimize Content Workflows: Manage the end-to-end development of content, ensuring all materials meet quality standard  and civility  goals.
  • Provide Strategic Updates: Draft and distribute project status reports, ensuring transparency for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Represent the Civility Team in partner meetings, working with Public Policy, Product Marketing (PMM), and Communications.
  • Monitor Deliverables: Track action items and project milestones to ensure all project deadlines are met.

You Have:

  • Execution Excellence: Project management and execution skills
  • A Solutions-Oriented Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on identifying efficiencies in complex workflows.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills, with the ability to draft precise documentation and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Analytical Research Background: Experience conducting research
  • Content Development Experience: Experience in content design, development, or creation, specifically for policy-related or educational materials.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to internship opportunities.

Hourly Pay Range
$36—$36 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
