About the Role

 Hurco Companies, Inc. is looking for Engineering Interns to join our team for the Summer of 2026.   If you are interested in being a part of our team, we encourage you to apply! 

These are paid internships working alongside our Full Time Engineering Team gaining real world experience with collaborative, real projects.

  • Mechanical / Manufacturing Eng. This role will assist the mechanical team with research projects surrounding metrology and data collection. This effort will be focused on improving the stability of our current and future machine tool products.

    • Data Analysis/Metrology
  • Mechanical Intern. This role will assist the mechanical team with design-engineering projects for machine tools and automation systems.
    • Solidworks/CAD/Drafting
    • Design Engineering/Prototyping
  • Mechatronics / Robotics Intern. This role will be working with automation system, integrating mechanical systems with electrical and control systems. Preferred skills, Python, PLC, systems engineering.
    • Python / UI / PLC
  • AI Development Intern. This role is for applicants who are interested in applying Machine Learning technologies to real-world problems. Your work would involve the development of internal tools or software infrastructure, primarily using Python. It may also involve integrating new software with existing machine tool software, working with languages such as C++ or C#, or the development new embedded software applications under Linux or Windows.

  • React Development Intern. Engage in all phases of software development in React and JavaScript/TypeScript, from design to deployment. Design software architecture based on modern toolkits. Work to modernize the software design of Hurco WinMax.
