About the Role

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.

As a Technical Program Management Intern at ABTC, you will gain hands-on experience in managing technical projects within our innovative environment. You will work closely with our Program Managers and technical teams to support various aspects of project management, including planning, scheduling, design, procurement, construction and compliance with quality standards. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the intricacies of project management in the battery technology sector while contributing to our mission of sustainability and efficiency in battery production. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are eager to develop their skills and knowledge in program management while being part of a leading organization in the battery materials industry.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the technology and engineering sectors, particularly in sustainable energy or battery technology.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar productivity tools.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office and Bluebeam) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
