About the Role

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.

As a TPM Intern at ABTC, you will have the opportunity to dive into the world of Technical Program Management (TPM) in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your role will involve supporting projects that enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall manufacturing processes. You will work closely with project stakeholders, R&D team, engineering, procurement, construction, and our plant operations team to ensure the successful development of technologies and manufacturing facilities.

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, OneNote, MS Project, and SharePoint.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship or work experience related to manufacturing, operations, or maintenance.
  • Project related activities involving research, design, fabrication, and testing.
  • Demonstration of leadership ability through extracurricular activity involvement.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the plant, and lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to wear PPE, including safety glasses and protective shoes.
