Department Overview :

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Private Wealth Division, a fast-growing team within the firm, responsible for providing exceptional service to our high-net worth clients. We take a sophisticated and holistic approach, providing tailored and comprehensive wealth planning and investment management solutions to satisfy each of our high-net-worth clients’ unique set of circumstances. Our approach is to help our clients build the financial, personal, and philanthropic legacies that matter to them. Our vision is to provide clients with a bespoke and personalized experience to cultivate meaningful and impactful relationships. 

 

Purpose of the Role:

As a member of the Internship Program, you will be part of our high-performing Associates Team, learning from the ground up while working alongside Associates and our best-in-class Wealth Advisors. We focus on personal and professional growth and are committed to helping you maximize your potential to achieve success and to inspire career paths such as people leadership, Wealth Advisors, and career Associates. 

This is a one-year internship program, beginning in June 2026. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have a chance to be hired as a full-time Wealth Planning Associate. Please see our brochure to learn more about the program. 

 As part of our hybrid working arrangement, you will be expected to be in the office full-time for the first four weeks of your employment, followed by a minimum of three days in the office per week for the remainder of your internship program. 

We welcome applications from candidates currently based in our hub cities: Toronto, Calgary, Kelowna, Vancouver, and Victoria.

 

Qualifications and Key Attributes:

  • Post-secondary education in finance or related discipline. 
  • Desire to enroll in and complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) during the length of the program. 
  • Interest in pursuing a career in wealth management. 
  • Exemplary organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • An analytical mindset. 
  • Resourceful and a self-starter. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work well as part of the wider team. 
  • Curious, inquisitive and the ability to adapt to change. 

Compensation & Benefits Package:

This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of $50,000-$60,000, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
