Job Summary

Audit Interns provide entry level support to the Internal Audit Team by assisting with internal audit procedures and risk management services. Students will gain an understanding of the corporate and strategic functions within the CFO Organization. Students are expected to have a basic understanding of accounting or information technology concepts to help with testing internal controls (including IT controls), analyzing financial data, and preparing audit documentation. This role offers hands-on experience with audit methodologies, exposure to various business processes, and the opportunity to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a corporate environment. 

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements 

  • Undergraduate and Graduate students enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university are eligible for DT Midstream’s Internship program.  Students will no longer be eligible to hold an internship position upon graduation from their program unless the student has been accepted into another degree program. 
  • Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to begin college in the fall are eligible to apply if they will be at least 18 years of age prior to their start date.  A college acceptance letter must be provided.
  • Students must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • College students will be asked to provide an official transcript as proof of eligibility prior to receiving an offer of employment.  

 Other Requirements:   

  • Proficiency in computer applications applicable to specific with field/discipline including Excel. Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Willingness to learn by accepting feedback, making improvements, and adapting quickly in a dynamic work environment
  • Works independently by following written instructions and using provided materials to complete tasks effectively
  • Communicates promptly when tasks are completed to seek additional work and maintain productivity
  • Effective time management and a strong personal commitment to completing quality work
  • Communicates constraints or issues promptly to help ensure deadlines are met
  • Practice the corporate Service Keys of Safe, Caring, Efficient and Reliable


Preferred Requirements:   

  • Coursework in accounting, finance, or technology preferred
  • Knowledge of information technology and/or accounting/finance products such as NetSuite
