About the Role

Primary Function:

Under the direction and control of the Sales Manager, with supervision and oversight from the Sales Consultant(s), this

position is responsible for gaining valuable insight into a career in automotive sales and leadership. This position

performs all duties within the objectives, standards, core values, and policies of Willis Automotive.


Essential Responsibilities:

 Gain industry experience and support sales teams in sales efforts including: lead generation, conducting

market research, updating the CRM data.

 Identify potential prospects and guests, emailing, social media outreach, and cold calling

 Research industry trends, current products, competitor efforts, and perform secret shopper activities

 Utilize CRM and maintain a customer database, prepare sales proposals, and provide updates to the data as

necessary.

 Participate in presentations; attend offsite functions including Principal Charity Classic, and shadow sales team

members. Learn the steps to the sales process and how to develop guest rapport.

 Participate in leadership development including book club, trainings, and managerial mentorship.

 Drive vehicles and be able to travel to all dealership locations in the metro.


Additional Duties:

 Assist in marketing efforts of the vehicles and services provided by the dealership

 Networking; engage with the team, guests, and the community

 Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

 Current undergraduate student studying business, marketing, sales, or related field

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

 Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability required

 Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the Company, sales consultant(s) and

guest


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Will stand and move throughout dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of shift time.

This position will spend time outdoors showing vehicles to customers and will drive vehicles in traffic during test

drives and/or deliveries. Position may be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous

and non-hazardous materials.
