Communications Test and Analysis Intern

Location: Houston, TX 

Summer 2026: June 1st - August 7th

Internship Overview: 


This role will support Intuitive Machines' LDN (Lunar Data Network) functions to automate lab functions, improve modeling and analysis, and position us for future customer onboarding and interoperability activities.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Automate testing for communications components, subsystem, and system testing. 
  • Participate in hands on hardware testing, software defined radio testing, etc. 
  • Interface between the Comms subsystem and other subsystems/systems. 
  • Interact with command, control, and telemetry, as well as timing and navigation functions.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar degree programs
  • Ability to safely handle RF communications components.
  • Python coding, data analysis and inference, and database structures background.
  • Familiarity with communications modeling tools (HFSS, STK, Matlab) for creating and improving modeling and test analysis.
