YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:

 

The Group Legal Department (27 experienced lawyers, several project managers, and 3 assistants, representing over 8 nationalities) provides its expertise and advice in the following areas:

  • Business Law:
  • Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Partnerships,
  • Financial Transactions,
  • Corporate Law and securities law,
  • Regulatory, reinsurance, ESG.

You will join the Group Legal team as an Apprentice in the Legal Department.

 

What You’ll Do :

  • Corporate Law: assistance in the preparation of AXA's general meeting, employee shareholding operations established by the Group, drafting of regulated information (annual report), reports required by the Solvency II regulation, research in securities and corporate law, legal secretarial work, etc.
  • Financial Transactions: drafting of loan contracts, participation in internal and external financing through market or banking channels, research in financial law (securities, banking, etc.).
  • Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Partnerships: research and drafting of notes, due diligence, participation in signings/closings; post-closing follow-up (liability guarantees).
  • Preparation of various materials for the Group Legal Director in the context of Committee meetings.

 

YOUR PROFILE

Who You Are

  • With a minimum of a Bac+4 degree in Business Law (corporate law, banking and financial law)
  • You have at least some initial professional experience in a company and/or in a law firm,
  • You demonstrate ease in working in English (both oral and written)
  • You ideally have some knowledge of financial and accounting matters
  • You have a sense of teamwork, are organized and autonomous, demonstrate dynamism, interpersonal skills, and availability
  • You are motivated to participate in varied projects in the technical and demanding field of insurance.
