We are looking for a motivated intern or working student to support our innovation and R&D activities in the area of electric vehicle (EV) charging and grid-edge systems. You will work at the intersection of power electronics, energy systems, and software-enabled testing, contributing to next-generation charging and grid-integration solutions.

Responsibilities


  • Analyze and compare international and national standards and grid codes related to EV charging, smart charging, and grid integration
  • Support the definition and implementation of test scenarios for EV, EVSE, and grid-edge applications
  • Develop models and simulations of charging systems and grid interactions
  • Assist in experimental validation using laboratory test setups and measurement equipment
  • Document results and support technical evaluations for R&D and product planning

Qualifications


  • Enrolled student in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Power Electronics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in EV charging, power systems, and grid modernization
  • Experience or coursework in simulation, modeling, or control systems (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Programming experience with C, C# or/and Python is a plus
  • Structured working style and curiosity for hands-on experimental work
  • Good communication skills in English and German languages
