About the Role

Job Purpose: The Product Management Intern will assist in multiple product management functions and gain hands-on experience with projects in data analysis, product lifecycle decisions and communication within cross-functional teams. 


Duties:

  • Review niche motor oil categories (racing, marine, motorcycle, etc.) to determine competitive offerings, evaluate Lucas Oil products and profitability, and identify product gaps and/or product repositioning opportunities.
  • Develop a business case and key claims for any new niche motor oil products.


Other duties include:

  • Assist in product lifecycle analysis of top products.
  • Complete data analysis on monthly and year-to-date scorecards.
  • Create presentations for product management team’s bi-weekly meetings with corporate leadership.
  • Develop market research process for vetting new data sources.

Requirements

   

Skills/Qualifications: Enrolled in an accredited four-year university or college and entering their 4th year of study. Preference will be given to applicants with an educational focus on marketing, finance, data analysis and engineering.
