Valley Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed Intake Clinician to join our team!

 

Intake Clinician Internship: Day Shift
Outpatient Clinician Internship: Day Shift

 

 

The schedule for this position are as follows: (Varies) 

 

 

Under the direction of the Director of Intake, the Intake Clinician assists the Intake Admissions Department in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Intake and Admissions. The Intake Clinical is responsible for the clinical coordination of patient flow and staff productivity in the Intake and Admissions department.   The Intake Clinician will be required to assist the Mobile Assessment Team (MAT) as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree in behavioral health field, and 2-4 years of hospital experience, plus experience in leadership roles.

 

 

Licensure: LMSW, LAC, or other healthcare- related licensure or must have the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.

 

 

Experience: Thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Intake/Admissions procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations. Management/leadership experience of a multiple disciplinary team preferred. Preferably experience working in and Intake/Admissions department in a Psychiatric hospital setting.
