Payd is a payments company with a focus on helping full time and part time workers get paid instantly. With offices in Malaysia and Thailand, we're looking for a business development intern to support the Malaysia sales team.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on sales internship focused on real pipeline building and revenue support.

  • Support outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email and structured outreach

  • Identify and qualify HR and Operations decision-makers in hotels

  • Book product demos for the Sales Manager

  • Research hotel groups, market trends and competitors

  • Maintain and update the CRM and sales pipeline

  • Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks and outreach campaigns

  • Join client meetings and observe how B2B SaaS sales conversations are run

  • Support cross-functional initiatives between sales, product and marketing

You’ll gain exposure to how B2B SaaS sales works — from lead generation to deal progression.

Qualifications

We’d Love to Hear From You If

  • You’re pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

  • You communicate clearly and confidently in English (written and verbal)

  • You’re proactive, organised and comfortable reaching out to professionals

  • You’re resilient and not discouraged by rejection

  • You’re detail-oriented and comfortable working with data and systems

  • You’re interested in SaaS, hospitality tech or startup environments

  • You’re comfortable using LinkedIn and digital tools

Bonus: You’re interested in building a long-term career in sales, business development or startups.
