About the Role

Location: Hamburg 

Freenow by Lyft empowers smarter mobility decisions helping people to move freely and cities to thrive.

One of our core goals for 2026 is the complete digitalization of the European phone-to-taxi market. We are moving beyond ride-hailing to provide our fleet partners with advanced SaaS and operational capabilities.

To support this rollout, we are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Excellence Intern to strengthen our Business Development and Operations teams. The goal is to take ownership of the day-to-day operational engine: learn the process, master it, and then automate it.

This is a 6 months contract with the possibility of a permanent position.


YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Support day-to-day operations workflows across our European partner ecosystem, including partner invoicing, data validation, and system updates within our B2B SaaS dispatch platform
  • Serve as a point of contact for fleet partners by resolving support requests and system discrepancies
  • Document and analyze existing workflows to improve transparency and standardization, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical process improvements
  • Leverage tools such as Excel, SQL, Python or BI solutions to automate repetitive tasks, build dashboards, and help develop scalable, data-driven operational processes

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Currently enrolled in (or between) a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and structured way of working with data 
  • Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in process improvement and automation 
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with international stakeholders
  • Fluent English is required. Spanish is a strong plus
