About the Role

Purpose

  • Support the IT team in providing technical assistance to end-users, contributing to smooth daily operations while developing practical skills in troubleshooting, systems management, and user support.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT team in providing first-level support to end-users (in person, by email, or by phone) on basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Participate in the initial troubleshooting of technical incidents to help identify root causes (software errors, connectivity issues, hardware malfunctions, etc.).
• Help with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support software installations, updates, and basic system configurations under the supervision of IT staff.
• Contribute to user account management (creation, modification, deactivation), including email setup and access permissions following company guidelines.
• Assist with maintaining accurate records in the IT ticketing system and help document solutions, procedures, and user guides.
• Participate in raising user awareness by providing basic guidance on IT tools, applications, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Use remote support tools, under guidance, to assist off-site users and help minimize downtime.

Education

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
• Proficiency in English for everyday communication.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft fundamentals are appreciated but not mandatory.
