About the Role

The Company

Kolo is a Northern European data center platform built for the next era of infrastructure with an urban focus: AI, hybrid cloud, and critical digital services in selected markets segments. Created in 2023 through the acquisition of two companies, and strengthened in 2025 with a third, Kolo brings together trusted operators across the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden under one platform.

We deliver secure, high-performance colocation with a strong focus on sustainability, customer service, and technical excellence. Backed by local teams and shared values, Kolo helps ambitious organizations scale infrastructure that’s fast, flexible, and future-ready.

Your Role

This internship is designed as a true immersion into the full scope of Human Resources in an international environment. Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you will act as a right hand on a wide range of topics covering several European entities.

The role is intentionally broad: you will contribute to both operational activities and strategic HR initiatives, gaining exposure to how HR supports a growing, multi-country organization.

This position is well suited to someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to understand how HR works end-to-end, from recruitment and training to policies, reporting, and cross-country projects.

What You’ll Do

You will contribute to a variety of topics, including:

Recruitment & Employer Branding

  • Support recruitment processes (coordination, screening, candidate communication, interviews)
  • Help improve candidate experience and recruitment tools
  • Contribute to employer branding and outreach initiatives

Training & Development

  • Coordinate training sessions and track participation
  • Help structure training plans and maintain learning records
  • Support initiatives to strengthen skills development across teams

HR Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and dashboards
  • Participate in monthly payroll
  • Assist in collecting and structuring HR data to support decision-making
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvements

HR Projects & Initiatives

  • Participate in cross-country projects such as payroll harmonization, benefits harmonization, OKR follow-up, and HR process improvements
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to support strategic decisions
  • Help structure and track project progress

Policies, Compliance & Health & Safety

  • Assist in drafting, updating, and organizing HR policies and procedures
  • Support health & safety initiatives and follow-up actions
  • Support ESG initiatives and follow-up actions
  • Help ensure documentation and processes remain clear and compliant

Internal Events & HR Initiatives

  • Support the organization of internal events and employee initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen engagement and communication

The Perfect Profile Match

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • A first internship or short professional experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, professional, and able to handle sensitive information
  • Able to take initiative and work with a good level of autonomy while learning
  • Fluent in English; French or another European language is a plus

The Deal

  • Exposure to the full scope of HR in an international company
  • Hands-on experience on real projects with tangible impact
  • Close mentorship and direct visibility on decision-making processes
  • A steep learning curve and a high level of responsibility for an internship
  • 4 to 6 months internship
