Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting in various aspects of Development Lab including:

  • Assist in testing and engineering evaluation as it relates to the R&D of Leviton products
  • Responsible for research, designing and building test equipment
  • Data collection and report writing
  • Engineering equipment maintenance and inspection
  • SDS Program maintenance

Qualifications

  • Good hands on skills.  Knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Ability to assemble electrical and mechanical items
  • Theoretical and practical engineering skills
  • Basic CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Education & Experience

  • Must be enrolled and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
  • Desired Major: Engineering
