About the Role

As a DoD SkillBridge Intern, you will transition from military service into a civilian workforce environment while gaining hands‑on experience in daily business operations. This internship provides structured on‑the‑job training designed to help you apply your military‑acquired skills to a corporate setting. You may work with multiple departments to support operational workflows, customer interactions, data management, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to observe, learn, and perform tasks that contribute to organizational efficiency while building a strong foundation for a post‑service civilian career. Throughout the program, you will receive mentorship, job‑specific training, and exposure to industry best practices that support your professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active‑duty service member approved to participate in a DoD SkillBridge program.
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and adapt to new environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Depending on the specific opportunity, experience in maintenance, mechanics, logistics, operations, administration, customer service, or related military occupational specialties.
  • Familiarity with data entry, inventory systems, or workflow management tools.
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures and quality‑control principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Interest in transitioning into a full‑time civilian role within the industry following program completion.
