About the Role

Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill Manufacturing Materials position for the 2026 Spring, Summer, and Fall time period at our manufacturing facility in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's Materials Planners and Scheduler in the completion of departmental oriented tasks, projects, and assignments.

 

Qualifications
Enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor in supply chain management, operations management, business, and / or related field.
    • Proven work experience, strong analytical ability, & excellent mechanical aptitude.
    • Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills.
    • Willing to do multiple assignments.
    • Good oral & written communication skills.
    • Must be able to interface in a team environment.
    • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
    • Assist with manufacturing process improvements.
    • Participate in quality review and corrective action implementation.

 

Material Planning/Production Scheduling
    • Assist with monitoring inventory level, and analysis of material requirements
    • Review material position to determine any shortages and assist in developing recovery plans
    • Support cycle count and root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies
    • Assist with schedule and help resolve scheduling conflicts or delays
    • Help analyze constraints and purpose schedule adjustments and corrective actions
    • Work on improvement projects for scheduling activities
