Data Analyst Intern

Description

 Family Tree Farms is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for the 2026 summer season. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fresh produce industry. The Data Analyst Intern will support the sales team and participate in special projects. The role requires attending company events and interacting with internal and external stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other analytical software
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across operations, finance, and supply chain
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems
• Automate recurring reports and improve data workflows for efficiency
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear, actionable manner
• Support data governance and documentation best practices

Work Environment

• On-site position based in Reedley, CA
• Fast-paced, collaborative agricultural business environment
• Office environment with occasional exposure to production or warehouse settings

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

•  Junior or senior enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program.
• Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and computer skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus
