About the Role

 

Summary

Join F&G as a Summer 2026 intern and gain relevant experience, professional development and incredible networking at a growing company. This position’s primary responsibility is to work with others on the team and across the company to help develop quality measurements and functional connections which optimize our planning and decision-making capabilities.

Organization

This position reports directly into the Planning & Profitability (P&P) team and will have the opportunity to interact across all teams within P&P and all F&G departments.

Duties & Responsibilities

The range of tasks to be performed may include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Various financial and business planning analytics such as actuals research and reporting, forecasting, strategic initiative planning, and ongoing metric/data build out
  • Project level reporting and analytics
  • Sales planning and incentive analytics, reporting, and projects
  • Communicate and collaborate with other team members
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests, special projects and other duties related as assigned

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business.
  • Experience with operating systems and commercial software (MS Office, Adobe, etc.)

Skills & Abilities

A successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • A fundamental understanding of data reporting capability (MS Excel (pivot tables)), database manipulation
  • Highly motivated, self-starter and team player with high energy level and willingness to take on responsibility
  • Sound relationship building, collaboration and situational leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to complete duties timely and accurately with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and transparently – both verbal and written
  • Ability to continually prioritize and multitask to accomplish goals
  • Ability to generate innovative solutions in work situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proactively take-action to improve existing processes or conditions
  • Ability to create complete and accurate documentation of work performed
