The hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hour This is an Hourly position.

OSF Innovation is focused on driving cutting-edge solutions and technological advancements in industries such as technology, healthcare, and sustainable solutions. We are looking for interns with a passion for innovation and a desire to contribute fresh perspectives. This internship will provide exposure to real-world industry challenges, mentorship opportunities, and the chance to work on projects that have a tangible impact.

This is a summer internship (2026) expected start date is Tuesday, May 26th with an end date of August 7th. Intern is required to work on-site in Peoria, IL

POSITION SUMMARY: The intern will assist in brainstorming sessions, research initiatives, data analysis, and possibly even help design and prototype solutions. Interns have made a valuable impact on pipeline for health care jobs within OSF Innovation. There are currently 4 previous interns employed as Mission Partners in Innovation Discovery Labs. We anticipate more pipelining from future interns within OSF Innovation. 

• The Machine Learning Analyst intern will work on a set of smaller, production aligned support opportunities from Advanced Analytics prioritized backlog. These opportunities will be aligned with one of the areas we serve, and the specific project selection will be based on the interns’ skillset and interest.
• Develop and deploy a fully functional supportive solution, benefiting the Ministry by reducing manual time needed for the selected task(s)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Student currently attending college or university completing undergraduate degree in computer, data science, software engineering or other related field.

Proven leadership skills in team building, training, and problem solving are required.

Working knowledge of specific microcomputer applications (spreadsheet, word processing, and database) is required.

Analytical skills are required to address operational and system problems, to gather and interpret financial and clinical data, and to prepare clear, concise management reports that alert administration to opportunities and threats and propose appropriate action plans.

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required to share complex information with administration, division directors and managers.

Experience preparing and delivering both small and large group presentations is required
