Summer Internship, Storeroom

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

This position will be based onsite (not remote) at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Work closely with our storeroom team to support various projects and tasks.
• Gain experience and insight into:
  • Supply Chain and Maintenance Support Workflow
  • Inventory Management
  • Receiving & Distribution
  • Data Entry & System Updates
  • Storeroom Organization & 5S
• Identify, develop, and support continuous improvement opportunities.
• Update and develop departmental SOPs.
• Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
