As a human resources intern, you’ll be responsible for recruiting, employment file maintenance, benefits administration, report generation and other projects.
You’ll learn various human resources functions, which will lead you to work without close supervision, produce quality work, and handle periodic special projects independently. The environment may involve a high level of varied activity, along with frequent interruptions. These skills will prepare you for your future career in human resources.
Here’s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
- Responsible for consistently meeting and maintaining performance objectives and/or goals.
- Must maintain utmost level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of the work in this department.
Recruiting Duties
- Support the talent acquisition team by helping maintain applicant records, organizing documents, and tracking tools to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date information.
- Support the full recruiting process by scheduling and conducting phone interviews, coordinating face‑to‑face interviews for multiple roles, and managing candidate communication, including sending notifications to those not selected.
- Represent 4imprint at recruitment events in a professional manner.
- Help maintain and coordinate name badges and various onboarding information for new associates.
Benefit Duties
- File a wide variety of forms into personnel/medical files.
- Administer tuition reimbursement program.
- Assist associates with questions regarding payroll, technology, and benefit issues or interpreting company policy.
- Assist in reconciling monthly invoices.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Communicate messages with associates who do not have access to email.
- Contribute to the weekly newsletter as needed.
- Prepare informational materials to be hung around the building; as well as displayed on various forms of media.
- Assist in generating HRIS reports.
- Assist with other projects as needed.

- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws helpful.
- Someone who enjoys change and trying new things.
Required education/skills/experience:
- Actively pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related degree.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data entry, MS Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
