About the Role

About the Role

Poultry Partners is currently seeking highly motivated, college students who have a passion for agriculture and a desire to work in the Poultry Industry! We are offering a 12-week paid internship for students who are interested in working directly with poultry, veterinarian and nutrition teams. 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • You learn and master skills needed to perform at a high level
  • You gain advanced training in Pullet Management, Layer Management, and Animal Welfare
  • You will assist Team Members with customer and third party audits
  • You will assist with vaccinations and animal health programs
  • You assist Team Members at all levels with day-to-day operations

The Right Candidate:  

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Animal Science, Animal Production or any other Agricultural degree
  • Committed to ensure the best practices of animal care are performed on a daily basis
  • Desire to work in the poultry industry
  • Have a passion for agriculture 
  • Highly self-motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and tasks around the farm
