About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to assist in the implementation of one or more company-level projects. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in project management and one or more company administration processes. The intern will work closely with our Chief Administrative Office project management team and project stakeholders to support a smooth and efficient project execution.

 

NOTE:  To be considered for this position, you must be a NANA Shareholder and own stock in “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.” You must currently be enrolled in college or technical/vocational school.


Responsibilities

  • Detailed Project Plan: Assist in the development, tracking, and adjustment of the guide for project activities and timelines.
  • Requirements Definition and Validation: Work with project stakeholders to identify a final agreed-upon list of project requirements.
  • Implementation Support: Assist in identifying and testing system configurations, when applicable, needed to meet Akima process and authority matrix requirements.
  • Data Migration: As applicable, support the migration of data from legacy systems, including consolidating files into the migration location, data cleaning, formatting, and validation.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, user guides, and process workflows.
  • Training Support: Assist in developing and delivering training materials, when needed, to help staff effectively support the change.
  • Testing and Feedback: For IT-related projects, coordinate system testing, identify issues, and provide feedback to the project team for system optimization.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to enhance the efficiency of processes and system use.

Qualifications

  • Must be a NANA Shareholder and own stock in “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.”
  • Must be currently enrolled in college or vocation/technical school
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including a basic understanding of how relationship databases function.
  • Well versed in the Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and Visio.
  • Hands-on experience with a large-scale system implementation project.
  • Exposure to contract management, procurement and organizational operations.
  • Mentorship and networking opportunities with Akima professionals.
