Are you a detail-oriented student with a passion for numbers and financial integrity?

 

Univest is seeking a motivated individual to join our Accounting team as Summer 2026 Interns. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic financial environment, work alongside seasoned professionals, and contribute to real-world projects that impact our business. This internship will help you build a strong foundation in practical accounting functions, offering exposure to areas such as accounts payable, general ledger, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset management.


Responsibilities

Participate in Accounts Payable functions including scanning invoices, vendor maintenance and processing payments

 

Complete general ledger reconciliations and post general ledger entries

 

Set up amortization cycles for prepaids expenses

 

Set up fixed assets with proper depreciable lives and complete quarterly fixed asset rollforwards

 

Complete trend analysis of various costs and income accounts

 

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including Univest Code of Conduct

 

Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

In pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance

 

Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

 

Strong communications, planning and organizational skills, along with professional appearance and a positive attitude

 

Ability to prioritize tasks, make informed decisions and work independently

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

3.25 cumulative GPA or higher preferred

 

Wage Range:

The salary for this position is $20/hr
