This role offers hands-on experience in researching, analyzing, and developing solutions to key operational HR topics. The Scholar will assist with day-to-day HR business activities, including preparing presentations for senior leadership, supporting office management tasks, and contributing to ongoing projects that enhance HR efficiency and employee experience. This position reports directly to the Head of HR Operations Chattanooga and requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability.

Possible Tasks within this Role

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct research and analysis on HR operational topics to support process improvements and decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for senior leadership.
  • Support the coordination and execution of HR initiatives and daily administrative activities.
  • Manage office tasks, ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on health, safety, and employee relations projects.

 

Qualification requirements

Qualifications

 

  • Rising sophomore, junior or senior
  • Strong GPA
  • Strong preference for Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, International Management/Business or related degree
  • Interest in health and safety topics preferred.

 

Skills

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
