How will you shape our tomorrow

As PM Proxy within the Journey Analytics & Adoption team, you will support the Product Management activities that enable Sonepar to monitor, understand and optimize the performance of its digital platforms among the “Spark” program, in an omnichannel context.

You will work at the intersection of Product Management (feature shaping & prioritization), Data (KPI logic, data models, tracking), and Business (performance steering & adoption), contributing to the design, prioritization and delivery of dashboards and performance frameworks used by global stakeholders.

 

Your mission will include:

1. Product & Backlog Support (SAFE / Kanban environment)

  • Support the shaping and documentation of new features in Jira
  • Contribute to backlog refinement sessions and help structure initiatives across our global dashboards and solutions
  • Help translate business needs into clear functional requirements (KPIs, filters, logic, UX expectations)
  • Prepare required information for ceremonies (PI Planning Introduction, demos, stakeholder reviews, etc.)
  • Ensure initiatives are clearly structured from problem statement to acceptance criteria

 

2. Performance Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Contribute to understanding digital performance (conversion, adoption, usage, migration funnels, etc.)
  • Support the creation and improvement of dashboards in collaboration with delivery teams
  • Help validate KPI calculations and ensure consistency with governance frameworks.
  • Participate in reconciliation exercises (e.g., order vs invoiced logic, channel definitions, data source alignment)
  • Monitor feature accuracy and track usage after release
  • Turn data into clear executive-ready insights and presentations
  • A sense of storytelling and presentation is a plus but not mandatory.
 
3. Governance & KPI Framework Support
  • Assist in maintaining and documenting KPI definitions and calculation rules.
  • Support alignment between Google Analytics tracking logic and dashboard KPIs.
  • Develop a solid understanding of underlying data models (e.g., order tables, channel classification, data lineage).
  • Interact confidently with Data Platform and Architects to clarify technical flows.
  • Support the creation of clear Confluence documentation and measurement guidelines.
  • Help ensure data consistency across tools (GA4, BigQuery, Dremio, Power BI)

 

4. Cross-functional Coordination
  • Act as a bridge between:
    • Product Managers
    • OpCos (Local Sonepar entities) E-Commerce and Analytics teams
    • Architects and Data Platform teams
    • Omnichannel transformation team
    • Delivery teams
  • Contribute to preparing and following up on workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding of new OpCos into dashboards.
  • Help coordinate UAT phases and validate dashboard releases before go-live.

 

What success looks like
  • Dashboard initiatives are clearly documented and well-structured in Jira.
  • KPI definitions are consistent and properly documented.
  • Stakeholders understand and trust the performance metrics.
  • Releases are validated smoothly thanks to structured UAT preparation.
  • The Journey Analytics framework is increasingly adopted across Global and Local teams.

 

The experience you bring
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering School, Data / Digital / Product Management).
  • Strong interest in Product Management and digital performance.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to structure complex topics.
  • Good understanding of data concepts (data models, SQL basics, KPI calculation logic).
  • Comfortable working with data tools (Excel, Power BI; knowledge of SQL, GA4, BigQuery or similar is a strong plus).
  • Understanding of the basics of Agile / SAFE principles (or strong willingness to learn).
  • Professional English required (international environment).
