About the Role

MHIRJ (MHI RJ Aviation Group) is the fusion of two powerful legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. Headquartered in Boisbriand, Quebec, MHIRJ delivers comprehensive operational, engineering, and customer support solutions to the global regional aircraft industry. Our services include maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing, and sales activities.

With a strong Aerospace Engineering Center and a network of service centers, support offices, and parts depots across the world, we’re positioned to support our global customers wherever they fly.

You will be employed under the In-Service Engineering Supervisor and our team supports a worldwide fleet of CRJ on their daily AOG, incidents, and reliability projects. We are a mature and experienced team of highly skilled specialists of Engineers, and Airlines & Production Technicians.

This is the department to be in if you are looking for various projects to support airline operators in their troubleshooting, repairs, reliability, and daily AOG return to service. Over the last years, students have brought new tools and standards in our everyday functions and received lots of knowledge about aircraft structure, systems, and airlines’ operations.

 

Your tasks will include:

  • Perform detailed engineering research, analysis, development and preparation of engineering service deliverables and approvals.
  • Provide support to the following Operator and Customer Response Center needs/deliverables: Repair Engineering Orders, ferry flight and other engineering concessions, functional test modifications, in-service minor engineering modifications, investigation reports.
  • Gaining detailed knowledge of aircraft parts and maintenance / repair practices, operational reliability aspects.

The skills you bring:

 

  • You have completed 3 years in a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering
  • MS Office Visual Basic programming skills.

  • You have good organizational & planning skills
  • You know when/how to prioritize urgencies
  • You have strong communication skills
  • You work well in a team
