For our World Triathlon Corporation d/b/a The IRONMAN Group in Tampa, Florida or Louisville, CO we are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Social Media Intern.

What You’ll Be Doing

Step into a role where no two days are the same, and your impact is felt far beyond your desk. You will:

• Assist in writing and posting on our social media channels 
• Assist with content screening & management (DAM, other external storage) 
• Assist in sponsor-related postings and reporting  
• Sourcing user-generated content on TikTok/Instagram 
• Stay up to date in the triathlon and social media world for news and updates 
• Position will be 20 hours or less per week
• This is an unpaid position for college credit only

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just tick boxes, but thrives in our fast-paced, global environment. Ideally, you have:

• Proficient in Facebook, Instagram & TikTok. YouTube is a plus. 
• Strong copywriting skills with keen attention to detail 
• Working knowledge of content creation and editing (Reels). Photoshop or Canva skills are a plus.  
• Journalism, marketing, and digital media major desired but not required. 
• Strong priority and time management skills. 
• Ability to work independently on projects is a must.
