About the Role

Summary

  

This position is part of the Summer Internship Program, which is scheduled to run from, Wednesday, May 27th through Friday, July 31st, potentially extending through mid-August based on the decision of the hiring manager and department. Candidates must be available for the full duration of the program to ensure a consistent and meaningful learning experience.


The Interns’ primary function will be to assist and participate in various independent reviews to ensure that Internal Controls are in place regarding file maintenance performed in systems used for maintaining client and account records. The intern will also participate in verifying the maintenance performed daily is accurate and has the appropriate documentation. Additionally, the intern will work closely with appropriate team members and Managers to provide documentation and/or make corrections.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and verify online banking system maintenance
  • Verify various maintenance reports 
  • Assists Processes and Controls Manager with maintaining updated procedures
  • Participate in a broad array of company sponsored activities and events
  • Special projects as assigned by your department or internship program that may include and is not limited to an intern final project presentation.

Requirements


Skills/Experience/Education

  • Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
  • Business majors preferred.
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Essential Mental & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions. 
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division and “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
