About the Role

What you will do:  

 

Scoular’s High School Operations Internship immerses you in the daily operations of one of our 100+ facilities across North America. You will be at the heart of what we do, learning the business, driving a culture of safety, and interacting with our producers. Throughout the internship, you will:  

  • Learn the operations of a grain-handling facility, keeping results and safety top of mind 
  • Become an expert in our safety policies and procedures to ensure employees’ safety and protect company assets 
  • Create connections with our clientele through exceptional customer service and personalized interactions, leveraging technology and effective communication strategies. 
  • Learn from experienced operations leaders in a high-volume, fast-paced environment 

 

Who you are: 

  • A high school student currently enrolled in school, who is at least 16 years of age
  • Action-oriented, enjoys working with hands-on projects – you do not enjoy being at a desk all day! 
  • Willingness to learn and apply innovative technology. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.  
  • A natural leader with experience leading in clubs, athletics, projects, or student government.  
  • Active in the community giving back at school, your hometown, or on a global scale.  
  • Available to work throughout the week in conjunction with school schedule.
