About the Role

The HR Intern at CarDon and Associates will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. The intern will assist in maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. By collaborating with HR professionals, the intern will gain valuable insights into the strategic role of HR in fostering a positive workplace culture. Ultimately, this internship aims to equip the candidate with practical skills and knowledge that will be beneficial for a future career in human resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, providing administrative support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in an HR or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
