The Manufacturing HR Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the HR function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This 12-week program provides exposure to recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and basic labor law practices while working closely with HR and plant leadership. This position is located in Sunnyvale, TX and is an onsite internship opportunity. This is not a remote role.

This is a project-based internship, and the selected intern will present their summer project at our Intern Expo Day on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Program Details

  • Program Dates: Monday, May 18, 2026 – Friday, August 7, 2026

  • Length: 12 Weeks

  • Schedule: Full-time, hourly

  • Required: Must be available for the full program duration and attend/present at Intern Expo Day in Dallas

Key Responsibilities

Hourly Recruiting Support

  • Assist with screening hourly manufacturing candidates

  • Support interview coordination

  • Help maintain applicant tracking records

  • Participate in recruiting events as needed

Onboarding

  • Assist with new hire paperwork and orientation preparation

  • Support onboarding sessions

  • Ensure compliance documentation is completed

Employee Engagement

  • Help coordinate engagement initiatives and plant activities

  • Support communication efforts within the manufacturing facility

  • Assist with employee recognition programs

Labor Law Exposure

  • Gain exposure to basic employment and labor law practices

  • Support HR compliance documentation

  • Assist with policy review and audit preparation

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business, or related field

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Interest in pursuing a career in HR, specifically in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work onsite in a plant environment
